Our Policies

Our Policies

To ensure we can have the best relationship with our clients, we like to ensure there are some policies put into play, so expectations are clear.  If you have any questions regarding any section, please check our FAQs.  You may also ask your assigned instructor or contact Aquatics 4U.

During Lessons

During the lesson on-boarding, our instructors will discuss their expectations for the parent and child openly. You may be asked to participate or stand clear of the lesson. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to the instructor directly.

What to Wear

Boys or Girls must wear a bathing suit.  Swim shirts are recommended but not required.  NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry.  Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that it does not get in the way of lessons.  Staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen.  If your child is not potty trained, you must have a swim diaper.  We encourage you to put your child in a disposable swim diaper, with a reusable swim diaper over it for double protection.  If you come to the lesson and your child does not have a swim diaper on, we cannot proceed with the lesson which will result in a missed class.  A regular diaper will not work.  Please see more information on what to expect on your first day here.

Pool Property

Please note and understand that pool property is not owned by Aquatics 4U.  The pool owners are not affiliated with Aquatics 4U and its swim lessons.  The pool owners are not liable for any incident that may occur while Aquatics 4U employees or swimmers are on pool property during lesson times.  Along with that, we ask every parent, child, swimmer, or family member who attends lessons to please respect the property Please supervise any child who is not in the pool at ALL times.  Please respect pool property rules and follow each guideline sent ahead of time.  Also, remain attentive to the swim instructor's instruction during your swim lesson time.

Weather Policy (outdoor pools only)

Lessons may be canceled due to:

  • Lightning within an 8-mile radius of the location
  • Low temperatures
  • Dangerous wind or rain.

Note: Only affiliates of Aquatics 4U will determine cancelations due to weather. A makeup lesson will be scheduled if the weather interferes with your lesson.

Makeup Policy
Because of our strict student to teacher ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition, or refunds. See our excused lesson exceptions below.

Cancelation/Reschedule Policy

  • We understand that vacations are planned and that plans during the weeks can change. If you request to reschedule, there needs to be 48-hour notice. Remember, our lesson volumes are typically high so requests can't and will not be promised, so please plan ahead! Please contact our team via email or phone call. Rescheduling requests made after a 48-hour time frame cannot be rescheduled and will result in a missed class.

  • If your child is sick, please try to contact us within 24 hours.  At the latest you may give us notice by 10 am on the same day of your lesson. The lesson will then be credited, and you can apply it for another time.  We will allow only one same-day/24-hour cancellation per child where you receive credit or a makeup unless otherwise approved by a team member.

  • Same day/last-minute cancellations or no shows cannot be rescheduled or credited.

  • If classes are canceled for any reason on our end, we will take responsibility to find makeup times. If makeup lessons can't be scheduled in your current monthly session they will be credited for the next month.

Late or No-Show

  • If you are late for a lesson your time is missed. We do have back-to-back lessons so unless we happen to have extra time, time cannot be made up. Please arrive 5-8 minutes before your start time!
  • No-shows cannot be made up or refunded. This includes a last-minute notification that you will not be there.
  • If there is some type of accident or emergency that occurs that caused you to not be present in swim lessons, you will be excused from this policy.  Please reach out to a team member ASAP.  We pray that never happens to you!

Payment Policy

  • Lessons need to be paid ahead of the program start date, not after.
  • If you are choosing to use our payment plan, payments do need to be made on time. Failure in paying on time may result in a late fee. Once you commit to a program you are locked in and need to pay!
  • ALL Students will be charged a $25 anniversary/administration fee. This fee is good for one year or until you drop out of the program.
  • For payments: We accept Zelle, debit/credit cards, cash, and checks. If you would like to pay another method outside of debit/credit card, contact us. Cash/check payments need to be brought and handed to your instructor in an enclosed envelope with your name, date, and payment amount written on the front. If this is not brought in this way, we will not accept it.
  • The only authorized company personnel with the power to discuss payments, change payment amounts, change payment due dates, offer discounts, etc. is the Founder and CEO of Aquatics 4U, Adriana Luttrell.  No instructor can or will discuss payments related to your swim lessons.  Paperwork & payments may be handed over to an instructor in an enclosed envelope and that is it.
  • Payments for one student enrolled in a household are required to pay upfront & in full for the session by the due date & time.  Failure to pay will result in an immediate drop of your timeslot, unless otherwise excused by the company owner.
  • Families with multiple students do have the option to pay in increments (Half-Half) and must make payments promptly to the payment's due dates.  These dates will be given at the time of enrollment, and you must sign a payment form as well.
  • If you choose to pay for the session in increments (half-half) you are required to pay the second half by due date no matter the circumstances.  If you miss a class, end the session early by choice, or no-show you are still responsible to satisfy the TOTAL payment.  If your payment is missed or not made it will result in extra fees and further action.  Swim lesson slots are limited and failure to pay or show up is not fair to the instructor, the school, and clients on a waitlist.
  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL, we do not offer refunds. Lessons can be credited under certain circumstances listed above.
  • We do offer military & first responder discounts!  Contact us for help regarding these discounts if needed.

Drop Procedure

Parents must notify the school or instructor before the next session start date to drop a student from their time slot. Only a written notice via email or text message will be excepted. You may call us as well; however, we need an additional written notice for our records.

Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS.  Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stop coming to class without notification, then you will still be responsible to pay fully for the next session.  This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.  See our FAQ for additional information regarding this or contact us if you have any questions.

At the time of sign-ups, all terms and conditions are required to be accepted.  Thank you!
