Meet Our Team of Instructors

Our team of instructors are consistently trained and prepared to handle any type of swim lesson we provide.  Each instructor is First Aid certified, Aquatics 4U swim instructor certified, background checked, and water safety certified.  However, while they are each well trained, we recognize that each instructor has unique personality traits that may mix well with certain swimmer personalities.  Listed below are our wonderful instructors that help to serve this community.

Adriana Luttrell Vazquez

Founder & CEO

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Aquatics 4U family. I started this swim school in 2020 with the goal of helping the families in our community stay safe in and around the water. Since I was a little girl, I have always been so passionate about swimming and learning to be safe in the water. I swam competitively for over 10 years and my first job was a lifeguard at the YMCA. I always dreamed of being a business owner, and for me when I started this swim school it made sense to build up a company that aligns with my passion. It has been an honor to serve so many families & see how much we have grown! I am 24 years old, recently married to my wonderful husband Carlos in early 2023, we have an amazing doggie named Lilly, and have a little swimmer on the way who will be born in September 2024!

I developed this program to allow each of my instructors personalities show through while also using the proper training techniques. Therefore we each have our own teaching style but teach with all of the same skills! Over the years I have learned to adapt to each personality I encounter in and out of the pool. Positivity in each lesson is key and showing a strong positive mindset to the kids makes a huge difference. That is what I do for not only my swimmers, but also my team!

Shayna Carlisle

Office Manager

Hello! I'm Shayna, the office manager at Aquatics 4U. I'm a huge family person and have always cherished trips and weekend getaways with them. I've been a country girl at heart my whole life, enjoying activities like riding four-wheelers, camping in the woods, and fishing. Although I didn’t grow up with animals, my family and I now have our own little backyard farm with cows, goats, rabbits, and chickens, along with our dog and cats.

I also have a love for the water—whether it’s boat rides, trips to the beach, or just swimming in our pool. As a Florida native, I understand the importance of swim safety given our proximity to water. Watching this business thrive over the past few years has been a pleasure, and I’m excited to be a part of the Aquatics 4U team!

Miss Ally

Swim Instructor

& Trainer

Hi I’m Ally and I love the water! Born and raised in South Florida I swam competitively for 13 years and played water polo for 5. I still play water polo here and there on a Master’s team in Tampa, and in high school, I was a lifeguard at my local YMCA. As you can see, my life has always revolved around being in or around a pool, and swimming and water safety have always been important to me. I love having the opportunity to make kids feel as safe and at home in the water as I do.

My teaching style is diverse as I try to make sure I adapt to each individual's needs. I believe I work well with all ages and personality types and am my best with kids who are determined and independent. I like to keep swim lessons fun and motivating and do my best to foster a positive learning environment!

Miss Tabby

Swim Instructor

& Trainer

Hey everyone! My name is Tabitha or Tabby and I have been teaching swim lessons with Aquatics4U since June 2023. I grew up participating in sports and coaching, teaching, volunteering with young children so coaching swim lessons comes very naturally to me. I currently work as a preschool teacher at a Christian school in Brandon. Since starting with A4U, I have learned to love swim and teaching students this skill! It’s so essential to a child’s safety and I’m grateful to be able to simultaneously encourage confidence and build their water skills.

My teaching style is adaptive with emphasis on challenging students. I will always consider a child’s comfort and capabilities as a whole to ensure their happiness but also push them to grow.

Miss Lexi

Swim Instructor

My name is Alexis. I have been a swim instructor for a little over a year. l was born and raised in Florida. I am an honors student at Riverview high school and going into my junior year. I am the second oldest of five kids and come from a big family so i have been around children my whole life. My younger brother who is 5 years old is my best friend and has faced many developmental challenges. Because of that, he has taught me patience and how to work with different emotions which I can apply to teaching many different kids.

I feel patience is very important when teaching. I work really well with any personality type as I can be on the stricter side but also more relaxed. I work especially good with kids who may be anxious or scared because it’s easy for me to connect with them. I like to get know my students and things they enjoy in order to build a relationship and trust. Trust is very important especially when being in an aquatic environment. Every lesson I teach is customized specifically for that kids needs and capabilities. I especially love working with toddlers!

Miss Anika

Swim Instructor

My name is Anika! I have been around water for my whole life. I was on a swim team for four years and I absolutely love the water and always love swimming. I have two older siblings, who are both swimmers, and a younger sister that also loves the water. I am currently working towards a scholarship for volleyball as it is my dream to play on the big stages. I always love seeing every kids milestones as they grow into confident swimmers, because I know how hard they work! I have been teaching lessons with Aquatics4U since May of 2023!

I always try to adapt to the kids personality to make a connection and a strong relationship with them, but I would say I work best with logical children who love to learn! I love working with toddlers and young children!

Miss Aimee

Swim Instructor

I am a Christian and a college student studying fashion design at BJU. I have worked part time as a kid’s ninja coach since 2022, have tutored kids, and has volunteered 100+ hours to working with kids at the Firehouse Cultural Center.

I have a more technical teaching style because I understand that if these kids aren’t taught correctly, I’d be putting them at risk. I tend to show the kids an upbeat and energy filled attitude because it encourages them to want to keep going and challenge themselves.

Miss Danayja

Swim Instructor

Hi! My name is Danayja, I was born and raised in New York and moved to Florida about 5 years ago. I’ve faced a lot of obstacle courses to get me where I am today, along with being the oldest of 6 siblings, with that I’d say I’m pretty experienced and patient when it comes to kids of all age groups! I will be going into my senior year at Riverview high school with a GPA of 3.4.

I am also currently working on different ways to expand my horizons and connections to eventually have my own beauty studio for all ages in the near future. Working with kids is something I’ve always had interest in and I will continue this journey as long as God has planned for me.

My teaching style is connecting with kids by helping them see their potential and show that they’re bigger than the body of water they swim in, helping them connect with water and themselves is my biggest goal and motivation. I’m a super friend but also will set boundaries of being a teacher. All children are different, but I easily adapt to different learning styles and comfortably, eventually helping them reach their full potential.
